Congratulations to the 8th grade Patriot Band!!! Both 8th grade bands scored Straight First Divisions and the Sweepstakes Award. This is the first time in school history for two 8th grade bands in the same year to win these AWARDS!

📖 Time to celebrate Read Across America Week! Yesterday, MJHS Student Council members visited the magnet schools to read to kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade classes. Council members read a story and prepared an activity for each class. Some learned silly dances, some created artwork, and some ate pretend green eggs and ham! Make sure to celebrate this week by reading YOUR favorite book! 📖
