Taher in the CLASSROOM! A few MJHS students were given a culinary experience with no bounds. Chef Brian Renz from the Taher Chef Council has been traveling the world to seek out the most delectable flavors from different cultures. This year's adventure included the Philippines. The students were taught how to create their own Filipino cuisine. They were wowed with cooking tips and lessons on how to create Arroz Caldo (Filipino Chicken and Rice Soup). Each student was given the opportunity to try this new dish and give feedback. Some even asked for seconds!

The healing power of nature is immense and the benefits of the outdoors are incredible for physical and mental health. FACS students spent time today learning yoga and relaxation methods during their testing week to help relieve stress and aid in conflict resolution. Because the ground we walk on is full of positively charged ions, just realigning your electrical energy can create a whole new opportunity for your mental health. The Earth is like a gigantic battery that contains a natural, subtle electrical charge. Our entire world is beautifully electrical, and we are electrical beings made of atoms living amongst a plethora of other electrical beings! It can also make us more creative and reduce stress levels. Ask your child about grounding today! They can now teach others! Namaste and happy testing week!
