Last week our Keyboarding Classes competed in a competition, where we selected the top 64 typists from a test where their speed, wmp, and accuracy were collected.
After several rounds of competition, our winners are:

Current MSD 7th & 8th grade girls interested in trying out for the 2025-2026 Marion Patriot Volleyball season please complete the following form.
Tryouts are May 6th and 7th from 3:30-5:30 in the Patriot Volleyball Gym (3M Transit Arena).
Make sure and be on time and be picked up on time! We will make a first cut after tryouts on May 6th. Girls will be told if they are coming back for tryouts on May 7th. The 2025 Jr. High Team will be posted Friday, May 9th.
You must have a copy of your current athletic physical to try out
MSD is offering free physicals for your grades before our tryouts. Physicals must be on a AAA form. Forms will be available in each bldgs. front office by 4/14th.

Girls trying out should be properly dressed in athletic attire and athletic shoes.... T-shirts, leggings, shorts, joggers, spandex. (Kneepads are encouraged but not required. If you have them, wear them. If not, do not go out and buy any!) Wear athletic shoes, gym shoes. Crocs, sandals, slides, etc. not allowed.
Girls will be able to dress/change when they arrive at the VB gym before and after tryouts.

Good evening, 7GA families! Beginning tomorrow our students will take their ATLAS State Summative Assessments. They have been practicing for several weeks- and will need a charged chromebook to show off everything they know! Student phones and other electronic devices will be turned off, taken up, and stored by their testing administrator. If you would prefer to leave phones, ear buds, and smart watches home for the day, we understand. Any of these devices that come to school will be stored away from the student's body for the duration of the test. Please ensure that your child's chromebook makes it onto the charger tonight and in the backpack for the morning! Students who are present for all 4 exams, Monday-Thursday, and who bring back the signed permission slip can be dismissed early on Thursday, April 17th.
