PHELIX ALUMNI

See individual graduation pictures to view the colors, flower and motto for each particular year.

Phelix School was named after James Sebastian Phelix, a prominent local who established the Phelix Undertaking Company at Sunset in 1946.

Sunset's first school, a two room building, was built with money from a fund backed by Sears, Roebuck & Company in 1924.

When Phelix High School began, tuition payments were required for those upper level courses.

Phelix School had a split year with two months of school in the summer and seven months of school in the winter until 1965.

Phelix School's last graduation class was the class of 1970.

We are in the process of digitizing class composite photos and posting them here for all to enjoy.

This is a work in progress!

If you have a composite not included in our archives, please share it with us. We will have a professional photographer make an electronic copy for us, and we will return your original.
